PERFORMANCE
The 2021Land Rover Defender offers two engine options. These are as follows:
- 2.0-liter turbo-four that delivers 296 hp and 295 lb.-ft of torque. You can get to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds.
- 3.0-liter turbocharged and electrically supercharged I-6 that generates 395 hp and 406 lb.-ft of torque. This engine will take you from 0-60 in 5.8-6.1 seconds.
Both of these engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD.
No matter what Defender you choose, it will tow up to 8,201 pounds, making this a useful SUV.
DESIGN
Hop into this ample-sized SUV with two rows of seats and room to seat five passengers. There is enough legroom in the back for your passengers with 15.6 cubic feet of space behind the second row and 58.3 cubic feet when the back seat is folded.
The interior design leans more towards a minimalistic, but you can opt to upgrade to walnut and oak veneers and Windsor leather if desired.
